On my last trip to Inverness, I started looking up Inverness tours, only to find that most options were tours leaving from Inverness.

But I didn’t want that – I wanted tours OF Inverness, tours IN Inverness…not just leaving from there.

If you feel the same, don’t worry, as I’ve done some research, taken some of the best Inverness tours and come up with this list of the top three tours that actually take place in Inverness, because this Scottish city is so worth exploring!

The town itself has so many hidden nooks and crannies to explore, the people are so friendly, and its location right on the water makes for some really great picture opportunities and cool walking paths no matter the time of year.

Don’t shortchange yourself by not seeing Inverness, even if you are using it as the Gateway to the Highlands.

It’s possible, depending on where you’re from, that the northern Scottish accent may be a wee bit difficult to understand, but don’t worry, they’ll speak slowly if you ask!
