I’m back from a few weeks in the homeland, which gave me just enough sunshine to get through the rest of the rain here until the summer. I have purposefully gained approximately 232 pounds on account of how much food I ate (special shout out to: Olive Garden, Outback, Chick-Fil-A, Pizza Hut(5 x), and more). I am also starting to try and dream up a plan where I can spend the summers in England and the winters in Florida and have the best of both worlds. One day at a time!
For now, though, I just wanted to put out there that I’ve started a new/adjacent blog! Girl Gone Lifestyle. Topics include: wedding planning, DIY, health & fitness (to help me lose the 232 pounds, duh), and product reviews. I don’t imagine that it will interest everyone, but if you’re so inclined, do check it out and leave me some comments so I can stop talking to myself. Warning: It’s still a work in progress as I build it up, so pardon the digital mess and empty spaces.
I’ll be back tomorrow with this month’s edition of Show Your World, and next week I’ll discuss my final thoughts on returning to America after over a year away, why I’m still not afraid to travel in Europe despite recent events, and I’ll share some tips on working in a British office (tea, tea, and more tea).
